Hi
I'm looking for some nice pictures of clean, slightly modded Maximas. My friend wants to get a new car and I'm trying to convince him to get a Maxima over a WRX. He doesn't really like the look of a maxima, but I want to show him some pics of some nice ones, and maybe that will change his mind. Thanks!

Darren

They're really two different types of cars... a WRX is more for fun/fast/twisty driving while the max is more of a sports sedan and has less sport compact behavior... I'd love a WRX too!

You better hope that he didn't already drive the WRX. It may not be as pretty or plush but it is hella fun to drive.

Recommend to your friend that he should go to the Nissan dealership, pick out his favorite Maxima for around $25,000 to $26,000, then test drive this car directly to the nearest Subaru dealership and park it next to his favorite WRX and compare apples to apples. I bet that he will have a hard time getting the WRX after doing this.

I dunno.. like I said... it depends on what he's really after a sport compact with awd or a sport sedan... the WRX is not too shabby at all.

Yeah, I guess you're right. If I only needed to drive for an hour to an hour and a half per day. You can bet your bottom dollar that I'ld be barking up the WRX tree. However, I still think that if my senses were not being impaired by the appeal of the WRX ie. "my dream max was sitting next to one :-)." I would have to be tempted by the Maxima of equal value.

thanks for the replies. yeah i agree the wrx and maxima are two different cars. I guess its what he's looking for. They're in the same price range, and the maxima is pretty damn fast considering its size. And the luxury, the maxima rules in this category. who knows, I may or not be able to convince him. anyways... wouldn't you rather take a lady out in a nice luxerious, leather trimmed maxima over a little tiny fast but ugly WRX? just my opinion.

WRX isn't that tiny... I've got a GF of 3 years so I don't need to impress her with my car.. second she likes "ricey" cars.. third, if you're mod happy there are a lot more options on the WRX.. I'd really like to have one of each..
