Cattman catback question

I just ordered the Cattman catback from SCO. I was lookin on Cattmans site and it said "installation hardware extra". They list installation hardware for that as $10. They also list one for the Y-pipe that i bought from SCO, but that CAME with installation hardware.

so my question, does the Cattback from SCO come with the installation stuff, or should I buy it seperate from Cattman?

What does the hardware kit consist of? Isn't it just gaskets? If so, just get em from Nissan... it'll probably be cheaper.... if its hardware, I'm sure that you can find the right stuff from a Home Depot or something...

When I did my y-pipe, I just got my gaskets from Nissan... my FC cat-back came with gaskets already... so I didn't need anything for that....

it probably includes bolts, washers, nuts, gaskets and might include the stiffer muffler hangers so it doesnt bang around against the suspension
when i got my axle back it didnt have anything with it, and i used hose clamps to stiffen up the muffler hangers

it doesnt say what it consists of, im really not sure. actually, i havent looked at my y pipe in so long, i dont even remember what came with that. if it is just gaskets, ill get them from home depot, your right. ill check at home tonight what came with the Y, and if it does have gaskets, ill call cattman and ask if the exhaust does.

I'm using hose clamps (Frankencar included em in the box) over my hangers on the rear section too.... very effective....

i agree, hose clamps lifted the exhaust over the mid-car supports

in case anyone else was wondering, the Cattman catback (at least from SCO) does come with hardware, as in gaskets and some bolts. they also recommend getting replacement exhaust hangers from NAPA, because they are stiffer than stock and will make the exhaust move around less.

Or you can use hose clamps around the stock hangers to tighten em up... whatever is easier... I'm using em on my Frankencar and they work great...

Probably a good idea to buy it. I got my gaskets and hardware myself and it cost quite a bit more than $10.
