Y-pipe, O2 Sensor and Cold Weather

I put on my 2K Max Budget Y-pipe 2-3 months ago and I'm happy with the performance. Budget guys also removed the crimp from the B-pipe as well by cutting out that section and replacing it with a straight piece of piping. Lately we experienced some cold weather here in Ontario (-30 C and below) and on a few occasions SES light came on with code pointing to front left O2 sensor (the one closest to the radiator). Every time it came on was during the days of extreme cold. I have reset the ECU and erased the code every time. Every time it has happened (3 times so far) would be after the car was outside overnight during these cold nights and first time I start it in the morning and put it in gear (i.e. activating the O2 circuitry). I have experienced no problems with driveability nor increased gas consumption while the SES is on which makes me think that the sensor is working fine. Has anyone experienced anything similar and could this problem be attributed to anything else other than cold weather, i.e. Y-pipe or oxygen sensor? Thanks :-)

Thanks E55AMG2 :-) Another question, say after it gets warmer, would the car reset the SES light after certain number of starts or something along those lines or do I need to disconnect the battery to get it reset like I've done so far? Thanks again...

I believe that it takes 5 full cycles with no codes for the CEL to reset itself. If that doesnt work, disconect the battery and see if it comes back.
