Need some help, car dieing issue

I was wondering if I could get some input from you guys.

Here's the jist of it: When I first crank the car and drive it, it drives fine. It idles around 1000-1200 rpms until it warms up. After it is at normal operating temp., whenever i push in the clutch and come to a stop, the rpms drop past 400 and the car almost dies. After a hard run in any gear and then an immediate stop, the car does actually die. Other than that, the car is running normal (actually it's running very well in this cold weather). Someone suggested maybe a vacuum leak might be the problem, but I have looked at all of them and actually fixed one leak and no change. Also, I had the alternater tested and something weird happend. When at idle, it was in the normal range, but after given some throttle and it comes back down to idle, the voltage drops to 11 and sometimes below, causing the car to die. I know(or think I know) that it's not the MAF b/c it rev's fine all the way to redline. Long story short, I'm baffled and need some ideas. Anyone have any? Thanks in advance for any help.
Nathan
