Stillen Look Alike Rear Vallance

I swear I saw a Stillen look alike rear vallance for the maxima on some website. I think it may have even been fiberglass, but I'm not sure, either way I know it was much more reasonable in price then Stillens high price. Please please if anyone knows where to find one, let me know. Thanks.

The website is absdynamics.com and the lip is made of plastic.

You can get away w/ using fiberglass for the sides and rear but urethane is a must for the lip

I love you guys! Thanks, I was only looking for the rear piece which was there. I am getting a Skyline R34 conversion style front bumper that I'm putting on the car. I might see if people want to do a group deal for the front, but the only problem is it's fiberglass.

what's the disadvantage of plastic? isn't still more pliable than fiberglass? my oem AE kit is plastic, altho of the hard variety. actually quite strong.

Well my argument is, if you break the plastic somehow, wouldn't you basically be screwed? If you break fiberglass isn't it repairable?

AKOGAN - What percent tint do you have? Nice setup, very subtle.

In My sig its 20% all around but now I currently have 20% front and 5% rear. All 20% was too light for me since my interior is light.

from what triple8sol said, the group deal wiped ABS out of all the rear lips.....

btw, from what i heard, urethane is harder to work w/ since it tends to flex....but idunno....

OT Warning....

Epacy, your other sig was awesome, man! Why the change?

And back on topic...

If I get the Stillen classic front lip am I gonna have major problems with bottoming out and such and destroying the lip? I'm pretty sure you guys are talking about the other Stillen lip (the AE look-a-like I guess), but I love the simplicity of the Classic one....looks so factory.

Thanks,
Brian

OT Warning response:

I am just playing around with a couple of things. I think I like the other one better as well. Perhaps you will see it again.

Does anyone have a side to side picture of the rear vallance, Stillen VS. ABS? That would be nice to see. And as for the group deal wiping them out, on the website itself they have not shown it as out of stock, but who knows?

the rear ones and the sides will be ok, since they dont hit the groud, as long as its not front it should be ok. funniest thing happend when i was driving my old 240, ran over a possom head on going 70mph.(he was sitting in the middle of the road eating something) i didnt see him until i hit him. since my car was so low, i thought he was stuck in my lower grille. so i got out to see if he was still there. but all i saw was some blood on my grille, and a huge chip in the front chin.that was fiber glass. abs? itll prob break. urathane? probably just stayed the same.

I accidentally broke my rear valence when I was putting it on. I used an epoxy to put it back together. Epoxy worked very well and still holds to this date. As for painting it is more difficult to paint and match the color. The reason is because they have to add a chemical to make it stick to the Abs. As for bottoming out I just have to be carefull coming in and out of driveways. But this is New Orleans where I live and it is flat as a pancake here so not sure if that makes a difference. Check my homepage for pics of the kit.
