QUESTION about camber...
I got my car aligned today and the alignment guy did not adjust my camber plates on my jic's. I did not tell him that my suspension had them nor did he ask me if i had special camber plates. Do those camber plates need to ever get adjusted?...help would be appreciated...
WHY would you not tell him you had them? What are we supposed to do tell you if your camber is off? Take it back to him and admit your error and see what he says. He probably had no idea they were even there and did not adjust your camber. After my experiences with shops in the last year nobody aligns my car but the dealer. Got ripped off 3 times in 2 different states. Alignment shops and "general" muffler shops are full of hacks.
I just put on my JIC FLTA2s on Wed, and the ride is MEGA stiff, its way stiffer than my friends EVO on Tein S-techs was, and this is not even set up to stiff just yet. I have not aligned the car as of yet cause I am waiting for a rear suspension bolt that holds the rear shock to the rear suspension beam- mine stripped out while removing it. I can't give a full review on it just yet, I will be doing my own aligment using a Hunter Laser aligment machine. Then its Nismo 18" wheels with summer tires and review. My car is so low you cant stick your fingers in the wheel well between the fender and the tire. Ride is VERY stiff, and 95% people will never wanna ride in your car
