Supension, Axis hagen
Hey whats up, I read a few old threads about this but i just wanted to clarify
something. I just purchased Maxspeed springs off of ebay for my Max but I read a reply in a older thread from someone saying i can combine these springs with the oem struts. I just wanted to clarify if its safe to do this with out blowing out the struts.
Also does anyone know if $1100 for 19inch Axis Hagen rims is worth it?
I seen them selling for 1900 with tires online so i guess they are. But Im more concerned with the look it will give the car. My cousin had them on his 3.5 altima but they exposed his wheel wells too much. He's selling them because someone burned his car down in front of his house

I put Maxspeeds on with my OEM struts, but I only has 9000 miles on the car when I did. I have 30,000 now and the struts are going bad. Seeing as how you have a 2K, I'd say replaced the struts when you install the springs.

$1100 and in good shape, YES! The Maxspeeds will be fine with OEM struts. I have had my Maxspeeds on for 2 years now with original struts. I thought the struts were going bad but it turns out the Maxspeeds are just a low quality spring that doesn't control the vehicle that well. Anytime I have passengers in the back seat, the rear bobs up and down on the smallest bumps.
