*sigh* MAF question (yes i searched)
*sigh* MAF question (yes i searched)
First off I gotta say how disspointed I am that Nissan feels ok in making an important part like the MAF from possibly the cheapest plastic ever made. I mean, my POS 94 Mustang has a metal MAF for christ sake.
Anyways, I replaced the MAF in my gf's 03 Max (maxceler8 on here btw), mostly because her car was acting funky and one day was nearly impossible to get home. The car eventually sat for a day or two and since then has thrown no codes and has ran fine. She'd really like to put an intake on it, but if its gonna screw with the maf then she wont. My question is; whom do I get a new (and hopefully updated) maf from, and has anyone painted their maf housing silver to match their CAI? Just curious, cuz I think the black maf might look a little odd if the intake is silver or chrome.
I saw that DaveB has sold maf's on here before, does he have the best prices/best equipment?
Thanks guys

DaveB is still the preferred person to talk to I believe.... alternatively, you could try to find a wrecked 02-03 and get the MAF off there for cheap... and no, I've never heard of anyone painting their MAF housing...
Yes, Dave B is the man to talk to about your MAF problems. I just bought a new maf from him yesterday, and i'm running strong baby. lol. Anyway, keep some extra MAF in ur house like u keep oil filters. LOL.
