This is from a print out Baker Jackson South gave me. Before you move this to the dealer thread I wanted to know what other 5th generation people have been told

Basic Warranty- 36000
Outer Trim Corrosion- 12500
Adjustments- 12500
Refrigerant Recharge - Unlimited
Seat Belts - Unlimited
Power train - 60000
Perforation(what is this?) - Unlimited
Emissions Defects - 36000
Emissions performance - 24000

How is this bumper to bumper?

He told me my read deck rattle, my door rattle and my center console rattle needed to be done before the 12,500 adjustment period. Is this true? He said it would start at $80 each to open each one up. The most annoying this was the deck rattled at when the cd player was on level 7 and he was like that is “normal”. I would curse but I know it is frowned upon in this forum.

 

Read your owners manual. Download it if you don't have it (FAQ-U sticky).

No. 3 years/36K for bumper to bumper warranty and 5 years/60K for power train warranty.

 

If it's still under warranty NO!!! That's what the warranty is for.

The more I think about it, I have two manuals. One is the owners and the other is like a suplement that includes the warranty info. You may not be able to download it.

 

What I meant when I posted is is does the deale get out of fixing rattles by claiming they have to be taken care of by 12500 miles. Seems kind fo crappy to me. My TL they fix anything and it costed about the same as the GLE did.

 

Get a new dealer. Complain to NNA at 800-NISSAN1. Get an Infiniti?
