Wierd whizzing sound feels like power loss also

Anyone else have this problem, any help???

we need much more detail than that...

I have a whizzing and its because my y-pipe is leaking at the secondary pipe (I broke a bolt)... and I'm definitely losing a lot of power and some gas mileage...

is the whizzing coming from the engine bay? if it is, and if i remember correctly, that is a sign of a dying alternator. POSSIBLY. anything else to accompany this noise?
