though yea they are taking a completely different approach with the hobby. the problem with the max is the rear. it never quite looks right..
i know a few vw guys that are going to 15's. like this guy that has a mkii jetta coupe with a t3/t4 set up. he even have some recaro's he got out of a scirocco. he has looks stock, but run consitant 13's.

If it had a grill to match the hood...IE making the grill smaller, then I think it would look alot better.


Or something like this...even it out with were the hood begins to cut. (not even this extreme would look good )

imo if u do the max dont let the hood extend so far down the grill. jus my .02 of course.

$900 seems overpriced. I'm not feeling that hood but on the bright side...you don't have to worry about your headlights being jacked as quickly.
