...the center member and WSP y-pipe? I mean the y-pipe hitting the center member while going over small pot holes. The center memeber is the bar in the center and the engine sits on it.

When my wheels break loose my y-pipe causes the b-pipe to hit the cross member. I ended up taking it off. When it did hit it would hits pretty hard. I looked under my car and I am very close to the part you are talking about, but it does not look like it is touching. Dallas was going to send me another brace, but I never showed up.

check to see if your motor mounts are sagging, missing, melting, etc... maybe that's causing you to lose clearance...

just a thought...

Had same problem... took it off with no adverse effects. The support brace included with the pipe is useless IMO.

I'm planning on replacing the rear motor mount, cause I'm sure that it needs to be replaced. Also does anyone know on difficult it it to replace the rear motor mount. I will be doing this at a shop myself, I will have all air tools available and lift

Your thinking about the cross member, not the center member. The rear motor mount is connected to the center member.

The problem is not the mounts. The problem is Dallas and Warpspeed. I tried to start a thread a while ago to organize everybody and make a complaint to him. Nobody wanted in although 10-15 people reported fitment problems with their products.

Basically you got screwed like the rest of us by buying anything from Dallas. I wish a mod would post a sticky on their fitment problems and save everybody money. I just put a crush in my midpipe because there is nothing you can do about it. BTW: Your flex section is not "still tight". IT will stay that way because the bends in the y-pipe are all f-ed up and it puts a great amount of pressure on the flex section.
