Hey im new to the forum,, and i was wondering if ne 1 can help me,, b/c my HID'S got stolen twice,, and i was wondering if ne 1 knows how they keep gettin under my hood,, without opening the doors,, and is there ne way to prevent this from hapening?

 

check out the FAQS, Nissan has a way to secure them, and there is something called data dots that secures them. both make it harder to steal the lights, but they still get taken. usually theives just pry the headlight out or pry the hood up. its the ballast and the bulb they want. if you want, a very sensitive alarm or something may scare them off, but the only way to prevent them indefinitley is to get the 2000-2001 headlights, non HID.

 

yea but there was no visabable damage,, so they diddnt pry it open,, i think there is a way to open the hood thru the grille,, is this true,, and if ne 1 has a pic of wut they use to open it i might be able to think of a way to secure them. thanx for ur help.

ive never seen them take headlights with NO damage...what year is your max?
