yeah i wanna know this too, because ive seen a few people that have just said "generic" battery tie down, but i cant find where anyone got theirs....the black paint is almost totally off of mine now and the metal is rusted...its looks like ****...

I dont know of anywhere to get the Stillen one cheap but SportCompact sells one for cheaper than that.

i think thats the one i was referring to...i dont wanna pay stillen prices, i just want something that looks better than my ooglie stock one! its horrible...

The one from SportCompact is actually one that has "SCO" engraved on it.

i prefer the old swa one, which they discontinued before i could order mine! doh!!!

it woulda matched so good with my custommaxima fstb!


the new one from SCO looks like some westcoast choppers ish.

you dont need to replace one unless it's broken. No more than you need to replace anything on our cars unless they are broken. Just helps dress up the engine and make a more secure brace for spirited driving i suppose.

i just think they look cool under the hood.

why would you get a cosmetic mod at all in this sense?? its to make it look good...it doesnt do anything that the stock tie down doesnt...
