O2 Sensor Question.
O2 Sensor Question.
"Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2" is what the auto-zone schmuck told me needs to be replaced, now my question is, when I goto their website to order the part I see:
"Please select one of the following:
SENSOR LOCATED AFTER CATALYTIC CONVERTER
SENSOR LOCATED BEFORE CATALYTIC CONVERTER"
I am guessing since the autozone guy said it was up front that its the one before the cat. so I click BEFORE. Then I get this:
"Please select one of the following:
REAR CONVERTER
FRONT CONVERTER"
And I really don't know what it is wanting to know. I thought I allready told it before the converter, why didnt it ask between? Wasnt even aware there were two of them. Or does it mean "sensor" and not "converter"?
If so I assume Bank 1 Sensor 2 would be before cat, rear converter?
I would greatly appreciate any sagelike advice on this.
Also is $75 for Part#: 13504 a good price, is it a good sensor? Any recommendations for something better?

Oh and crud, one more thing, I assume this is an easy replacement?
I've done oil changes, brakes, transmission flush/fill on my own before so I'm guessing this sensor cannot be that hard, for soe reason the pics in the FAQ wouldnt load
sad panda.

You were 90% there and you blew it, all you had to do is get the code.
Get the code and post back here WITH what car you have.
