Check this out. I thought it was going to cost me around 400-500$ for installaion and painting and all the good stuff...

I went to get it estimated and they said it would be 350$ painted and installed. He said he uses the flex agent which is always good... and the paint will match... 95-100%... good deal?

he prob will do a 1 stage paint job....which the clear coat is mixed w/ the paint instead of applied seperately...

 

what is the correct way my body kit should be painted.. what levels..

 

I got mine painted for $150 and installed the kit myself. I guess $350 is about right.

 

what kit did u get? my shop is chargin me $500 +200 to install/ paint/and modify the fitment of my fiber kit. Color will match 100% - it better. Had a lot of fitment issues, mainly the rear. Alot of fabrication to ensure a sturdy fit. Hope its worth it!!

are you guys serious with these prices? i have the classic stillen kit and took it everywhere and the best i got to install and paint with the 02 bumper cover painted and installed was 1500. of course i have a pearl white but still?I know its 3 stage paint but wow if i had reg paint only 500? ????

 

3 stage paint job is the best....they paint base coat, then color paint then clear coat....

2 stage, base coat and then a mixture of paint/clear coat

1 stage, mixture of paint/clear coat only....

 

3 stages is what he's goin'.. smooth it with base coat... then color paint.. then a clear coat....

all for 350$ not too bad! This is including installation!

I know it's not that hard to install.. but 350$ was the price I thought it would cost to paint this... so I guess i'll take it!

 

wow **** that sux...i was planning on getting my entire front bumper painted this summer, but if its gonna cost me 1000 bucks, hell no! haha...i kinda wish i would have waited for a different color, but i got my car for a really good price and its a 6 speed so i couldnt resist!

I would definitely jump on that offer though...350 for everything including installation is not bad! good luck, and post pics afterwards so we can see how it turned out!
