First, the inexpensive aluminum gauge bezel...

Second, the always popular Magnaflow SS Tips...

Lastly, my favorite thus far...Tokico HPs with Progress Springs...

Your Max looks exactly like mine minus the drop. Other than that, it looks good.

your ride is off the hook, it looks real clean and almost completely stock. like how you don't have mudflaps, makes the car extra clean. i'm getting my progress soon and your pic just reinforces my decision nicely! i'll post me pics soon. the magnaflow ss loud?

Thanks for the props. Gauge Bezel: Ebay...$10, the tips are stainless steel single-wall magnaflows...$16 ea. I'm runnin a stock can with a 2.5" B-Pipe, SS Y-Pipe, Racing Cat, and 18" Magnaflow resonator. Loud...no...sleeper...yes. It can growl when I want and I can keep it barely noticelable during normal driving. Sounds a little like a G-35.

Looks great, but since you did your bezel, you shuold've done the chrome guage rings at the same time.

I have the same tips on my AE, they do nothing for performance or sound, but they do make the car look A LOT better. Pictures on my Cardomain site -- mine are extended a bit further out than whtslprmax's.

Did you get the bezzel from Fire And Ice Motorsports on Ebay ? I bought one for my friends AE and I got one for myself, gauge rings where on back order and Paradox refunded me the $$$ for it. I will install them again, my old instrument cluster that took a **** still has them on but removing them and trying to reinstall them is pain, after they been on the car for over a year.

They need to be welded on and thus, taken to a muffler shop. My local shop put them on for 20 bucks.

speaking of progress, my springs are coming in tomorrow but i have GR-2's in the front and stock rear struts, will this affect the drop height in any way?

You just run the risk of blowing the rears making for an uncomfortable ride. My car rides 10x better on HPs than stockers. I would invest in the rears as soon as possible. I think you can get the rears for about $150 OR LESS.

would GR-2's in the front and HP's in the rear be a back combo? you think i should just get GR-2's in the back? or highly recommend HP's?

It doesn't matter...both are better than stock. I'd go GR2's since that's what you have already.
