Parking Brake adjustment

Does anyone know how to adjust the parking brake? Currently, I can easily pull the brake all the way up. Rear brakes aren't more than 20k miles old. I want to make the brake secure and tight 1/2 way up.

WHAT MacGyver cant figire something out on his own??!?! NEBAR!!!!

hehe all jokes aside, For a 4th gen under the center console should be an adjustment nut. Its right under the boot and all you have to do is unbutton the boot and its right there. A 10mm deep socket should do the trick.

On the 2000 Maxima if you pull the e-brake lever all the way up you will see a small hole on the underside. It takes a 10mm deep socket to adjust it.

I recently replaced my rear pads and couldn't get the e-brakes back on. I ended up removing the center console before I found it.
