Rear Springs

Rear Springs
What do you think of this idea? I have a 2001 I30T. I don't like the firm harsh ride, so I am may purchase rear GLE springs off of a 2003 Maxima. I will then swap my I30T springs for my GLE springs, and then put on Tokico Blues, or KYB GR-2s.
Will this make my ride more plush? Also are there any negative effects to only replacing the rear springs, as opposed to all four corners?

again, i'm in the same position of trying to smooth out my ride, but for my wife more than myself. i'm kinda getting too old for the chattering ride now anyhow.
it's my understanding that all the aftermarket struts will ride firmer than stock. the closest to stock i've learned of is supposed to be the tokico blues, but even those are ~10% stiffer. i'm in a 2k SE now. i'm switching to GLE springs with either tokico illuminas or new stock struts. i will test ride a max with illuminas and SE springs next week so i'll have a good baseline comparison with my SE springs and stock struts. that's the best way to compare the illuminas' ride. since the illuminas are adjustable, i'm hoping their softest setting will give me a softer ride than stock.
rLx77, for you, the best bet may be to simply go to a I30 non-touring setup.
