I drove past the local BMW lot on my way to lunch and I just so happen to see the Bimmer that I have been wanting since my last lifetime, black on black 540iL manual(a rarety). It also has the 18" three piece wheels on it. We agreed on a sales price and a monthly payment but the only hold up is my trade in value. My car is at the lot because they are trying to find a wholesaler who give me a better amount than they offered me, $17,500 LOL! My max is fully loaded and it has 31K miles and it is 2yrs old. Even though I only owe $7912 on my car I am not going to give it away. I should at least get 20,500 for my car, I think! If not I will just wait until next April and buy it when my Max is paid for. I hope not being as though I have already purchased the 19" AC Schnitzer type II wheels and the tuning kit. I bought this stuff in Jan. b/c I knew I was going to get my Bimmer soon. Wish me luck!

Did they rebadge the car?? Because BMW doesnt make a 540iL...they make the 7 series in the extended wheelbase, but not the 5. Anyways, nice purchase, you will love the power of the BMW 4.4 liter V8. They are monsters on the highway.

 

A man who knows his stuff! I'm so used to saying that I wanted a 750iL that I made the mistake of saying 540iL instead of 540i. It doesn't make diff anyway b/c if I keep it I am gonna put my AC Schnitzer badges on and take the numbers off! I love the smell of new car. I wish the leather was preforated like I had in my max!

What year is it?? Does it have Xenon Headlights or Premium Sound. The sound systems on BMW's suck. My dad has the H/K on his 330 and its decent, but not as good as my BOSE. Our 98' 740iL had the worst sound system. When you turned it up it would distort like crazy, for a 70k car you think it would come standard with some decent speakers.

PS: Learn how to launch that thing and you can suprise many z28 Camaros and Mustang Cobras!
