New Front bumper, interest!

Ok Guys I am thinking about getting a new front bumper made for the 5th gen that I think you all will like. No I will not show any preliminary pictures untill this thing is close to production, so please don't ask! My question is if its a really nice bumper, would you spend the 150. more that it will more than likely cost for a eurethane bumper rather than a fiberglass bumper. If I were to make it in Fiberglass the price would be around 350 per bumper, however the eurethane model would be closer to 499. This would be a full bumper replacement, not a lip.

i would only pay the price if the kit was something i liked. i know you said not to ask for pics, but i don't think you can ask people if they would pay for something they can't even see, ya know?

I would be interested as long as it was a one piece bumper that still alowed me to use all stock lights and had a lip like a maxx tuning or $tillen lip. I might consider one that allowed me to use some brake cooling ducts. I think the word is **subtle**! I'm not trying to get my Maxima to look like a totally different car. BTW, it shouldn't cost too much more than a stock Nissan bumper plus a little more for the lip...

Sure, but with a few caveats:

1. has to be subtle...not a cheesy Stillen touring lip or anything like that. Make it look like it "could" have come on the car from the factory.

2. has to fit the OEM fog lights...none of these huge-*** openings for Impreza fogs or square fogs.

3. no billet or chrome grills....grill low-key and with a mesh BACKING, not facing....

4. obviously, quality quality quality fit fit fit....

I'm down for something HOT, but, that new front bumper would need holes for STOCK foglights

What do you consider a "really nice bumper?" A lot of ricers here think their cars are "nice." It will be extremely difficult to produce something classy, that suits a majorities liking.
I would consider it, but without any images or ideas yet to visualize, it's hard to say. Will you keep stock fogs and sidemarkers? It shouldn't be lower than a 2k2 bumper with Stillen classic lip. Will it have adequate, yet subtle, cooling openings?

not a good question to ask without seeing the actual product to make a prominent conclusion as to if I will like it and think it's worth the price, or not.

I understand he is trying to get ideas, but in here people have different styles and tastes. At least he should put a pic of what he will be working with like COncept cars... they show it and from there they work something out to mass production.... I don't know I might be wrong..... What you think is Cool I might not like it and vice-versa.....

i'd be down. was going to get a lip for my max until i had a wreck. now that i have to replace the whole thing, it'd be sweet to do them both at the same time. be sure to keep us updated.

I would def. have to see it, but 500 seems a bit high. It would have to look damn good and match up with the factory fogs.

I would love to install this on my car. But the only suggestion is that I want to have stock fogs.

Also, I'd prefer no front sidemarkers, but I'd live with them.

i think that would be an awesome from bumper. very aggresive, but would need a rear to match.

i also always liked this, the white one. much nicer than the VIS one that is out.

oh, and yay, 1000 posts for me

The igor kit posted above is nice but I'd also like to keep the stock driving lights and sidemarkers. I agree that there should also be a matching rear made. I need to replace both bumpers with full pieces.

Yeah, 4Gs have PLENTY of options for everyones tastes.

Problem with 5th geners is that our tastes vary too much and manufactures that try to accomodate all of them end up making the FUGLY crap that's currently out.

True very true, The one posted above is similar to what I have in mind. However that bumper is very involved and would be expensive in eurethane.
