you can see the difference in the pictures.
the Metal white are much brighter(sort of HID light after the warmup)

Really nice.

Do you feel a difference between the stock and those ones on the road?

areX, I just got my Metal Whites the other day and I just installed them. I have not had a chance to tets them out in night driving yet. However, I was wondering if you could do me a favor. Could you tell me what the imprint says on the metal collar of your metal white bulbs? Maybe I am paranoid, but I just want to make sure I got the real deal.

I'm probably going to get my head for asking (i.e. it's probably posted somewhere else here) but is it safe to run with the 130/125's in your Max? I thought we should replace only with the 65/55's (or whatever they are).

Sorry, but my head is spinning from trying to figure out which bulbs to go with (thinking about PIAA Xtreme's) but your Raybrigs sure do look nice.

Oh yea, and what is a "dichroic" or should I even ask?

Thanks in advance.

If you look closely at the print to the left of 135/125, you'll see 60/55 (on White Thunder box).

White Thunders and Magnums

I've been running with the White Thunders in my headlamps for a few weeks now. I like the white, but am thinking about switching them out...they produce a look that is just too blue. Obvious to any car enthusiast, and probably the police, that they are illegal bulbs and not HIDS and I don't know how bad the police in Seattle are with that. You see a noticable BLUE color on anything the light lands on...most noticable when following a white car.

I put the Raybrig Magnums in my fogs and they produce a nice bright white light with less of the blue tint. I might get Magnums for my headlamps as well. If I do...I'll have a pair of very new White Thunders to sell.

Zubin, for UMD_MaxSE

hey, i thought i'd post this out in the open for all to see.

arex108 (10:56:28 AM): hmmm... that's weird.. he's saying the imprint on the collar of the light is different....
rsrRace (10:56:40 AM): That is wierd.. the only thing that I can think of is if they were an older generation? or first release?
arex108 (10:57:03 AM): but not even having the Raybrig/Stanley imprint?
arex108 (10:57:06 AM): :\
rsrRace (10:57:06 AM): I'm going to email him.. and tell him, he can send them back if he wants..
arex108 (10:57:19 AM): okays. thanks, man.
rsrRace (10:57:21 AM): I'm confused as well..
arex108 (10:57:25 AM): he was getting a little worried... yeah.
rsrRace (10:57:44 AM): yeah.. since there are no more metals.. i guess i can replace his with either WT or give him $ back
arex108 (10:57:48 AM): yeah, thanks again.

again, Zubin, cool guy.
