Titanium Editiom Rims Have Arrived! (56k gay...stay away)

I'm so happy I can cry. They look so beautiful...some pics:

I weighed them, and they came out to a superb 22lbs -- on both of our digital scales, and standard.

These are Nissan rims with an aftermarket finish, basically. I have a guarantee on them for a full year. And yes, 22lbs is light. Most have claimed that the 6-spoke 17s weigh 25-28lbs. That's apparently not the case if these rims are any indication. When the OEMs come off, I will weigh them.

I did get them on eBay. But they aren't exactly knock offs. The rims are factory Nissan, but the finish is done elsewhere.

Why spend the money to get a different color version of the same wheel? I'm not saying it's not good looking but I don't understand the reasons behind it...

Hah, I was buggin for the center caps and had no idea they'd provide me with a set of blanks. The auction said that center caps weren't included. Hahaha. Anyways, I'm very happy with the rims and hope to have them on this Friday. Stay tuned for pics!

The reason for me would be the finish looks better than the painted SE rims that came on my car. I would prefer the bright finish.

I didn't spend money on them. I sold my original rims to an Org member, and used the money from that to purchase these. I like to think of it as a $60 upgrade. =)

Edit: Kevin, yep gave up on them. I figured I didn't want to do something drastically different. I thought about my options when it dawned on me...the 2k3 TE rims! I always thought they were the hottest thing since sliced bread - so I looked around eBay and found them.

They look good, I always wanted a finish on mine when the 20th AE SE has them, I want it on mine. How much does it cost.
