I'm installing the kit tomorrow and ur supposed to use rubbing alcohol, but i just wanted to make sure it won't ruin the paint at all and what kind to use if it matters... like ethyl or isopropyl etc . . . thanks guys

I also got 3m super strength molding tape (says o.e.m. approved) that is 1/2 inch thick (three rolls = 45 feet total for $6 each roll) The instructions on this site for install used 7/8 inch but i coudlnt' find that width so i figured worst case scenario i could just use two strips next to each other but it should hold up fine i assume...also got tar/wax remover to prep the area before the rubbing alcohol bc the 3m tape instructions recommended that

also, would you guys recommend rivets or screws?
