cali vs. fed emissions???

is there a noticable power difference between a 2001 cali spec and a 2001 fed spec car....would the fed spec be faster due to the emissions...also if the fed spec is begger would u be able to convert a cali to a fed without running into major problems???hope this question is clear and makes sense

I don't know why would you want to convert your car to Fed spec ? There are no gains to be made, my cali spec puts out just as much if not more power- mostly due to light wheels, than fed spec 3.0L. Alot of stuff would need to be changed over, like wire harness, lower intake manifold, ECU, install EGR into the VIAS intake, or just get a EGR equipped VIAS intake. Do it, dyno it, and prove me wrong.
