warpspeed y pipe

hey guys,
newbie here and I have a newbie questions. have no mods yet on my AE and want to start out with the franken car intake and a y pipe. I am looking at ebay on found a warpspeed for $199. just want to get your opinions on this brand, because they are around $200 less than the cattman and stillen. Should i get this one off of ebay? or pay more for the stillen or cattman?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33631

Item number: 7960563240

thanks

Good choices, Frankencar or Berk intakes work well (and sound good) and the Warpspeed y-pipe has been kind to people with 5th Gens.... decently priced too....

Btw, do a search on intake sound clips and you should find the thread I started with the Frankencar intake clips... you'll like the sound of those....

yes I disagree with the intake statement also. I have had both and a y pipe is the best bang for the buck. And the combination of the 2 together really is your best bet. But if I had to choose the y pipe is the best way to go.

some people wil argue this but not much. Maybe a little better quality. But as long as you go SS then everything should be fine!

The only difference is that with Warpspeed y-pipes, a few people with the 02-03s have had problems with fitment... Cattman y-pipes have proven to fit fine most of the time.... oh yeah, and Warpspeed engages in some cheap shots at their competition on their website and can be jerks to deal with, which annoys some people as well...

I have a warpspeed too. They were okay to deal with, returned all calls promptly and decent shipping.

No bees in the can......butt dyno made me smile
First 2 mods I did were frankencar intake and warpspeed y pipe. Y pipe felt like it offered more power gain than intake ....Together (intake and Y) was a good day as I had the y pipe for a month before adding intake, since Frankencar took 4 months to get me my intake.

I love that sound of the intake at WOT ( seems i am almost always around there too )

Good at letting pedestrians know ure coming......they need it with me out there

Just wanted to point out that most 00-01s have had better luck with fitment than the 02-03s... heard of some issues with that... but there are also many who've had no problems whatsoever...

Warpspeed y-pipe has huge issues on 5.5 gen. Mine is sitting in the garage due to fitment issues. They seem OK on the '00-01 models, but if you have issues with it, I would not expect them to do anything about it. They have your cash and don't care if their product works or not (IMO).

so other than fitment, the cattman and warpspeed products are basically the same in quality? so if I have an 01, I can safely go with the warpspeed since fitment will most likely not be a problem?
