The sound system is definately pretty good for a stock system. My friends sometimes ask if I have some subs because my rear view mirror vibrates when I feel like listening to rap.

I just got mine two weeks ago for $10K + tax...

It is a SE with leather, 17" rims, CLEAN interior/exterior and 64k miles.

It's about the same. I couldnt tell if you overpaid or if I underpaid a bit..... but we are in the same range.

Later

looks clean, and italready has a tint!

Looks just like my car when i first got it. butyour rims are the 16" ones because the early SE's came with them, and than they started making them w/the 17"s. Correct me if im wrong

yea, they are, i am taking off 2k4 off my 95 max friday & putting them on 2k max in prob about month (weather)....
keeping stock wheels for next winter.....

about those factory 5 spoke rims they are coming with, i bought a set of those from somebody off the org last year & put them on my 95 max, did some research back then & noticed i had seen some 2k & 2k1 SE's with them, also seen some 2k & 2k1 GLE's with them, i actually like them alot better then the 17's (center caps kill them)that came with SE's in 2k & 2k1

i don't know why everyone takes off the stock 16" wheels, i have them on my early 2k se and i love the fact that they look good, are stock, and are very light, good combo, i'll keep mine on for a while

2000 GLE and i love my 16" 5 spokes. I think they're beautiful wheels. I like seeing other Maxima's with them; they look nice in motion. Regarding the Bose, its a very decent system. For a factory system, it works for me; people othen ask "what do you have back there?" It could POSSIBLY stand some more Highs, but for a clean install, it works

the bose sounds good, although the cd player on mine skips a bit

I'd definitely go with clear corners in the front and red in the back, it'll look more like a stock look and won't be as noticable to the cops as clears all around. Get orange bulbs as hyper whites are illegal.

Not really zippin, i rather buy a car from a 1-owner who didnt hook it up:
a) People who hook up there cars, usually race them, beat on them or do other stupid ****, or they dont Maintenance them (nothing personal)
b) i rather hook it up myself, so i can say i hooked it up, not someone saying u bought it like that....
c) i would never buy a dropped max (not sure if urs was or not, but most modded ones are)
d) 1 owner , from Tx (no rott/rust/salt like upper states)

I'll start from the top:

When I first got the car about a year ago it had a startup problem.

Then, I had to get my tranny rebuilt just recently..

Both headlights died on me recently.

And off course the rattles.

Actually its not a lot of problems, just the tranny going was a BIG annoyance.

Overall, I am still very happy with my car.

At 103k miles my Automatic went...it would be extremely late from 1st to 2nd and wouldnt go to 3rd ever. Got it rebuilt, runs good now.. but im only at 106,000 so we'll see how it holds up.
