Just Brought My Berk

After digging through the forums and reading about customer satisfaction, I decided to pull the trigger and purchase the Berk Intake (with the Apexi filter) for my '02 Max SE. It seemed that most people had nothing but good things to say about this product and its creator.

Is there anything I should be aware of when it comes to installation, management, etc?

I just ordered it last night, so hopefully it will be here within a week or so.

thanks

If ya need a copy of the installation instructions, they are on my homepage... page 6 I think.... the hardest thing about the install is stretching those silicone connectors over the MAF and the intake manifold.... everything else is cake...

Enjoy it... I love mine, had it for about 5k miles now...

thanks man. I can't wait. it is obviously, mostly for sound. The HP gains will be minimal. But the sound is what I'm after anyways.

I'll check into your site for the install.

did berk get more for the 2k-2k1s? anyhow, some people recommend unplugging the battery, but some have had very bad experiences. I personally never did that any car I installed intakes for.

I've unplugged my battery multiple times for various installs and have never had any problems....

I love my Berk intake to death. The installation is fairly straightforward. The only caution I have to offer is this:

Getting those silicon couplers over the piping and the MAF was hard. The instructions are NOT lying when they say it's going to be very tight.

Soak Hoses In Hot Water To Soften Them Dry Off Should Make Them Slide On Easier.
