Damn these things are sweet. Perfect beam pattern absolutly zero glare and perfect color. Intense white/purple looks just like the OEM hid's from mercedes or lexus. Absolutly gorgeous. They work very well in our housings Ill post more pics tomorrow of whatever you guys request but for now all i have are these two.

The pic of the housing came out green for some reason but there absolutly no green or yellow anywhere to be seen in person. Ask zack or phil or alex. They all saw the kit in person and it is SICK. Damn i love it..

4th Gen Prototype 9004 will be unveiled on DPA on Tuesday night.
I made thoroughly sure, that this kit will blow Philips off the map. The entire kit is professional, and the color, and research gone into the burner and shielding is un-paralleled. I've learned a lot from the past 3 weeks developing the retrofit.
Adam, enjoy the lights.

Wowow. I want it.hey Hogan I sent out the check today..hopefully you will get it ASAP!!!!

Damn..i wonder why there is such a huge difference between Philips and Panasonic..how about PHilips with the beam corrected kit..does it look almost the same?

Pix looks cool. Now I'm sure I'd spend the extra money and get the Panasonic HID, however now I have another dilemma should I spend a lil more and get the Bellof to retain my high beams.

Do you still need high-beams with an HID kit like that? I would think that the HIDs alone would suffice, but

Cant wait to get mine..

You really dont need high beams with an HID system, especially with the Panasonic Unit. I do however plan on getting a set of new PIAA 510 series foglamps to replace my present foglight assembly/Unit. Any takers?

Regards,

GC

High beams, we dont need no stinken high beams. These lights are twice as bright as any highbeam and shine nearly as far as a high beam. The lights stay on when you hit your high beam switch too but the fogs turn on and off. And when i was driving around last night i went thru some back roads where there are no street lights so i could really check these out and like i said DAMN they are good. Then all of a sudden a new QX4 pulls up next to me with hids blaring too and guess whos were brighter and purpler... MINE tee he he
And when you look at the pics assume they are twice as good in real life. For somereason you can not take good pics of these things.. They always come out green but they are pure purple/white just like lexus or benz, they also light up the road the same way. They look like OEM and in some cases better than OEM. And did you notice zachs sig... All of the sudden he wants panasonic hid's. I wonder why.....

Ohh and to you guys with PIAA H3 platinums. They look pure white compared to your current headlights, right?? Well next to these things they are yellow. Not just yellow but pale yellow. Phil asked me if i still had my stock fogs in and im like no they are the same fogs you have. HE was like shieeettttt..... So should i try to fine a purpler/whiter fog bulb or just go for yellow bulbs like lexus??

then again i come out to talk smack..

are they even comparable with piaa hid kits?? they do have such kits and the comparison is almost like fogs to headlights when u have an oem hid next to the piaa hid. but the price is another thing.

But these are not OEM. I've been next to a bmw and a acura. Both cars are not as bright. Although mine had a whiter color than the acura and about the same color as the bmw once it warmed up.

yo_its_ok - Nice work. Hmmm... $650 shcoons, eh? Perhaps I can convince the CFO that this would make a great Father's Day gift.

I'd be interested to find out more about the installation in terms of both effort and modification (i.e. how/where is the ballast mounted and what kind of wiring modifications are required, etc.). Any technical info you could provide would be great.

Also, I've read both posts now and it seems that country road driving at night shouldn't be an issue with the Panasonic kit. How about we throw heavy rain (and/or snow) into that scenario? I live in the sticks and not many street lamps out here in East Overshoot, CT and would hate to broadside Bambi, Lassie or Bullwinkle without at least half a chance of avoidance.

Install is simple. All you have to do is figure out where you want to mount the ballasts, and the relays and the starters. Then you have to run the power wires to the battery and to a ground. If you have installed a stereo amp before its very easy..

I thought Yo's stuff connected to the bulb adapter and got its power there. Hence no mods needed?

Purchase of HIDs

Morning all,

I don't know if this was posted before..

For the HIDs, do you mod the front lenses at all?

Also, do you have a link with the HID infos and installations and costs..

You guys posted some SWEET pics. Unreal!

although mine isn't from Yo, none of the hids I've seen requires mods to the lens itself.

Awesome

i got the panasonic HIDS from Yoitsok today and installed them today. It took me about an hour to install. most of the time was spent on where to place the ballast and starter. Putting everything together was like connect the dots. It was actually fun installing it. I will have pictures posted as i get them.

Thanxs Hogan AKA yoitsok - he ships quick - got it in 2 days.

Hey gtr_rider,

When you refer to "site", r u talking about my homepage?
Can someone else try it? I just went there and it is fine.
Thanks guys!
Oh, yep... I had trouble with the pics too. You have to hit "reply to post" and it will give you the links for the pics. That was the only way I could see them.
