Wear and Tear - Struts Replacement
Wear and Tear - Struts Replacement
Hi all,
I have a 2001 Infiniti I30T with 47,000 miles. It's time to replace my worn struts, so I bought Tokico HP (Blues). I am keeping my stock springs, as I do not want to lower the car. I plan to have my struts installed this weekend.
Are there any other things related to the suspension I should have replaced while I'm having struts installed? No point in having new struts but have them destroyed due to other deteriorating parts of my suspension.
If you could let me know what other parts I might want to check/replace through this process, I'd greatly appreciate it!

try this... www.icarumba.com
i found my current garage there, they are very reputable and in east northport (exit 51 off LIE - noticed you're from LI as well).
i've been going to them for about 5 months and they're always honest with the service, it's actually family owned and has a stellar reputation within the town i live, since they all grew up in the area, everyone knows them... they do very good work, not so much into the performance modding aspect, although i can't say that for sure since i have no mods on my car! but for installation of springs/struts, they're more than adequate.
if you really can't find a place near you, then you could try them, it's called Firestone something, zipcode is 11731 (put it into the link above) also, you can call them, ask for Tony (he's one of 3 brothers that own the place), and he's very helpful. tell him Ray with the Infiniti I30 referred you.
