I took my 15 year old daughter to a vacant parking lot to learn to drive. I gave her her first 2 lessons on my 5sp Max. We left out the sissy stage of learning on my wife's automatic-zero-to-60-in-15-seconds minivan. Anyway, on her own inititive, without me knowing, my daughter registered with Maxima.org
I will consider myself a successful parent when my daughter moves beyond the lurker stage.

My daughter has the soul of a Maxima driver. Very unusual, I know. Remember, she has my genes.

Nice going btw. Get them to love the Max while they're still young.

Your grammar is a little wonky here... are you saying women can't be good drivers?

I understand completely...

My 21-month old son will point to the door leading to the garage and say "car... car..." He always wants me to take him out there so he can sit in the drivers seat, hold the steering wheel and say "vrrrrrrrrrr". Never does that do my wife's car

When I showed him my POP-charger this morning, he points to it and says "whaaaat's thaaaaat?".

Too cool!

I think I'll wait a little while before letting him drive, though.

Cheers!

hehe...when I was young, I was the same way. However we didn't have a Maxima at the time.

We had an old Datsun 210(?) Stationwagon. All I remember now, was that it was yellow.

I would sit on my dad's lap while he was driving and I would steer!

Also, when watching Knight Rider, I would stick the TV remote control between the sofa cushion and the armrest, and shift gears making the vrooommmm sound! wait..I still do that now.

Who says anything that the Max isn't for Female drivers. Most of the people I see on the highway that drive maximas are Female drivers. Do you just like to flame people or are you that ignorant?

I remember someone saying something like that in the past and the female drivers weren't to happy.
Good luck man.

Martin, I think you should take your daughter for lessons at least twice a week so she can learn to drive in the streets. Also, once she gets her license, be sure to give her the car whenever she needs it on the weekends - remember, all of her friends will be very impressed.

Man, gee! I think that's very cute! Remember to teach your son not to speed when he gets his Maxima at 17! At that time, the Max will have well about 300hp!

My 6 year old daughter thinks our Max is awesome. She can't stand when "those slow minivans" get in front of us. When I talk about trading for another car, she gets upset. She really likes "our" Max.
