Stupid Question about TSB

How is it useful? Do you get anything fixed for free, or better price, or what? Sorry for the retarded question.

Thanks, but I couldn't tell if your car still had to be under warranty or what.. Does it have to be under warranty in order to take advantage of TSB's?

Warranty==> NNA pays.

Out of warranty ==> You pay, unless you have a sugardaddy.

Usually right on the TSB it will tell you the mileage up to when it gets fixed for free...

Before 36k I got the brakes and rotors replaced for nuthin...then after that I got the Trans control module for slow 1st to 2nd shifting done for free...If I remember correct that one was free till 60k miles...but I'm not sure...can't remember...Like I said, its right on the tsb usually.

The Nissan Technical Service Bulletins are written for the techs to perform specific repairs to the vehicles as outlined in the tsbs and are only covered under the warranty inclusion in which the repair is being made. The tsbs themselves are only service guidelines.

some of the tsb, i.e. lack of power tsb, will only be covered if the technician can replicate the problem. it's also dealer dependent too.

hey man tsbs are not warrantys they are more guide lines to help us out in fixing ur car--if u have a check engine light on and there is a tsb for the code that ur car had then we have to do the tsb 1st. if ur cars mileage is within its warranty it is covered--if not then u got to pay--sorry for the ruffness but its the truth
