Advantages of 5th gen muffler over 4th

I was thinking of buying a 5th gen muffler for my 4th gen. What are the gains for doing something like this...maybe 5hp? Any advice would help...thanks!

Hi Nick. As far as I know it adds 0 HP. The sound will change however.

the 5th muffler is less restrictive and if you have an aftermarket y and b pipe, you should see some gain. it definetely will not be earth changing but if you want a more free flow muffler that does not look hideous and can still be relatively quiet then go for it.
