just checking out the custommaxima site for hids and halos. what kind of ballasts come with their kits? if anyone here has them in, how do they perform? any problems?

also, a general hid question. back when i first installed my 2k2 hids, i read about possible problems with the ballasts when quickly flashing the hids on/off. if so, how do oems offer hi/lo xenon lamps without damaging the oem ballasts?

 

I guess 2K2-2K3 have wirings set up that was meant for separate high beam and low beam. But you can correct this problem by putting a capacitor across the negative and positive wiring that goes into the HID. This will stabilize the power supply into the HID that will prevent it from "blipping" when U flip the high beam.
