Do some Korean sometimes like to lie?

I remember 2 weeks ago, a very popular Korea (no name) claimed that his mom drives a SC430. I don't know why he say that, but I read the magazine saying that the dealer in the States recieve theirs for show rooms, but the SC430 won't be availaible to customer until mid June. So This Korea who claims that his mom SC430 must be a liar. I don't say this for no reason, but I asked the Toyota/Lexus dealer in Canada to confirm it and they said that the States won't get theirs until mid June and Canadian get theirs in late July. So........

Keep in mind that the Korea used present tense when he said that his mom "drives" a SC430. So he must be saying that his mom has it already.
I am not trying to be pricky, but he is decieving people that the SC430 is actually avaialbe now.....That makes me really mad and ****es me off!

ummm... in defense of Asian brothas, i've seen about 6 in the past 2 weeks on the streets of LA and BH and yeah... they're pret-ty sweet.
i hope that this wasn't an ethnically-directed comment. Lovesick, we don't need any of that here. I really hope that this doesn't end up to be a big flaming war b/c that can be taken to the Off-Topic area.
if anyone wants to know, i'm Taiwanese but i've had and will have Korean roommates. there's nothing wrong with them. please, no stereotyping here.
