Alarm accidentally set itself off? Ever happen to you?

Have you guys had your factory car alarms (car honking) go off for no reason? I've owned my car for about a month now and today my alarm decided to go off by itself. Not sure what triggered it, but it became a real nuisance to people working outside my office. I doubt anyone tapped it or anything because I had just come back from lunch and parked it between two cars. 30 minutes later someone from my office came in and told me my alarm was going off and that my lights were flashing.

Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity? 2 weeks ago I got a new HU, amp, and subs installed, do you think someone was tampered with accidentally during the install?

That has happened to me a few times, but not recently. The only thing I could think of is I accidently hit the panic button on my key fob.

that happened to me with my 93 maxima. It started off going off once a week. Then it became all the time. Ih ad to get the service guy to unplug it. But ... that was a 93.

What features does our alam have?
A shock sensor?
Glass breakage?
Tow sensor?
Anything besides a starter kill?

I bought the car used so I'm not sure exactly what the alarm is comprised of. I do remember the previous owner telling me that the headlights were also wired to trigger the alarm in case of theft. Not sure about the tow sensor or glass breakage. I'm sure the Nissan alarm comes with the starter kill. right? All I know is that the key fob is OEM so I'm assuming it's a Nissan OEM alarm. It's got 4 buttons (Lock, Unlock, Trunk, and Panic).
