Catman RSB Installed..I have ?
I just installed a catman RSB on my max.
It seemed to make a huge improvement in handleing performance.
I bought this used without instructions. I am not sure where the placement of the U bolts should acctually be. Right now I have them placed in a few inches (3-4) from the bends that take the bar to the trailing arms.
They are on the beam obviously but should they be palced differently?
Also it seems my front end is sloppy in comparision now that the rsb is on.
I have a FSTB,,does this sound right to you guys
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

i have the Progress one, basically the same thing. my instructions told me to place them 4.5-5" from the bends/corners. im not sure placing the u bolts further out or in will change how the bar works tho. apparently it does on the Addco, but i cant confirm for the Progress?cattman.

By U bolts, not sure (can't remember) if you mean the ones on the multi-beam, or the ones on the trailing arms. So will answer both:
I have the multi-beam bolts about 12 inches from the bends, so the right-side one misses the Panhard bar. IIRC, placement of these does not affect handling.
The trailing arm u-bolts are about 2 - 3 inches from the ends, and this DOES affect handling; it increases the affect of the RSB. If you place them farther from the ends, the effect is lessened.
My front-end did not feel sloppy after installation, I have an FSTB and the car is almost perfectly balanced in corners.
Hope this helps.
