Just curious, not sure if this would fit or not. Thanks for any help.

Bigsherv is right.. Just wrap the stock **** in an old t-shirt and loosen that sucker up with some channel locks. And when thats done, you're open to install pretty much any manual shift ****.

ok, after a little reading, it is my understanding that the manuels will fit my auto because I have not button that needs to be pushed. so therefor this one should work, right? Thanks again.

Our automatic transmission shift ***** (2002-2003) do not have the release button, so you can screw a normal manual transmission shift **** on there. Just make sure you don't buy a shift **** with gear numbers on it (which are rare anyways) and everything should be fine.

On an unrelated note... I was just drooling over this same **** for my 6-speed before you posted the link. Unfortunately, Momo doesn't make this model to fit with the 02-03 Max's reverse lock-out collar.

It won't work with the 6-speed, it would work fine for you.

Yeah, the selection is limited... I think this is the only one that looks decent...

There are more here with reverse rings here:

I'll soon be ordering the 3rd one (half leather, half aluminum). It's probably the best looking Momo that's available in a shorter stack for 6-speed Max's like mine with the reverse lock-out collar.
