VIS hood problems

Just installed the hood and noticed the predrilled holes for the windsheild wiper nozzles are too small for the stock maxima ones that i had on my original hood.

does anyone know where to buy nozzles that will fit?

its the VIS invader for an '01 just to let ya know

Hey man, I have the exact same hood and had the exact same problem. I asked on the forum as well but no luck. My fiances dad used a grinder and grinded them down to fit. Then he used some clear drying silicon stuff to hold them in. I didnt let them dry long enough before hooking the washer hoses back up so they came unglued, so I currently just have nothing in the holes. But, they do fit nice. Hope this helps .

that sounds alot easier than grinding down the nozzles themselves and then trying to glue them....

i was talking to my dads buddy(who owns a body shop) about grinding it to fit better and he said he wouldnt try it.. he said cf has a tendency to break easy so if he didnt wanna try it i would be leary about doing it...

doesnt it seem that vis would make the holes holes to fit a certain type of washer nozzle? i mean they had to choose a certain size for a reason, right?

I know that I would NEVER grind a $600 hood! I would rather mess up many sets of cheap nozzles then mess my CF hood up. The silicon glue dries absolutley clear. It is ok without the nozzles but kind of a pain when your windshield gets dirty ever couple days and you have to do it by hand .

when the shop installed mine, they didnt mention any problems with the washer holes. but as i have been told, carbon fiber "shrinks" when its heated, so that may be causing the problem. just be very careful dremeling that part of the hood, since it is obviously very visible.
