i finally put them on. here they are

can you tell me....how is the ride and handling...my post is like 5 threads down from yours right now....do you have the 245's in the back? let me know how it is

no, i have 235/40/18 sumitumo's all around. i think that the 245's in the rear may rub a little. but the overall ride is great. but my last two sets of rims were 20"s. so any smaller wheel would feel better.

Are you aware that the G35C wheels have a 30mm offset?

also, he was referring to "the 245's" in the back (i.e. the 245/45/18 that come on the G35 rear wheels vs. the 225/45/18 that come on the fronts).

The 245/45/18's WILL rub in the back, as has been noted several times by people with these rims/tires.

so how do 20's feel on a car im thinin about getting some do you think its a mistake to get 20's?

oh yes they will. the rims come with 245's for the rear, and 225's for the front. i had to put the 245's on the front because they were rubbing like a biatch when i had then on the back.

they feel okay i guess. but be aware that the ride is rough, and they really restrict the performance of the car. oh yeah, braking isn't that good with a wheel this size.

the g35's are the new "must have wheel" for the 5th gens. the next mod is prob. gonna be a stage 1 ltb since i finally installed my rsb today.

BTW, the 00-01 maxima GXE/GLE caps fit, and so do the new Altima caps
