Won't the spoiler obscure the centre light? I think you should stick with a spoiler with the brake light and remove the centre light from the back window.

Just my $0.02

true thats also a good idea but how hard is it to run the spoiler wire and how hard is it to take out the back light?

For running power to the spoiler it depends if the wiring hardness is in place or not. Check the trunk lid and see if there's a cable there. If so, it will probably just involve drilling a hole through the trunk (where the spoiler connects to the hood) and connecting the wires up. If there's no harness then it's a bit more difficult. I've seen plenty of GLEs with spoilers installed so it's not impossible.

As for removing the back window light, I guess you just have to take a look. Hopefully the unit just sits on top of the rear deck and doesn't have a huge hole cut out for it.

Sorry, I can't give you more help but this isn't really my area of expertise. In fact, I don't have an area of expertise when it comes to cars.

There's a cover that you can buy to cover the hole on the rear deck if you decide to take off the light.

It's called a rear parcel cover my invoice says CHMSL cover and it comes in different colors to match interiors. I put a spoiler on my 02 gle and it was allready wired for the brake light in the spoiler. My kit (from nissan) came with a harness in case it didn't have one so I bet you can order the sub haarness (what it is called in the installation manual) from the dealer.
