X-tec HID Conversion Kit???
X-tec HID Conversion Kit???
http://xenonexpert.com/xteckit.html
A co-worker of mine sent me this link for an HID conversion kit. Was wondering if it could be fabricated to fit our vehicles, and how much work might be involved in such a task. Also, does anybody have any clue as to the quality of this manufacturer? I've never heard of them and he hadn't either, but for $350, it might be an option for someone willing to explore the possibility.

i got mine through umnitza for 325 shipped and an additional 260 for the fogs to match. So instead of buying new for 350 or 325 buy mine for 300 im trying to get rid of it cause i have some other more important expenses.
i got mine $350CDN and picked up locally.... everything work fine.... it's the cheapest kit i can find.... i found the seller on the ebay
problems:
1.the light are too braight + it's everywhere.... so i have to aim it propaply.... if u have the money retro or 02-03 OEM is the way to go.... if you want cheap like me.... try and find the cheapest kit if you can and don't worry about anything.... coz they basically all made in china... and quality and life are probably the same between the cheap price range...

XTEC has horrible customer service. Umnitza does not deal with them anymore. Stay away from them (XTEC). Otherwise if something happens to the kit, you will not get any help replacing stuff under warranty. Trust me, I am going through a ballast problem and it has been 2 months. I left the owner several messages and he does not return calls. He is out of the country most of the time.

With REAL data on a 4000K Bulb - not some hokey chart that was made up by a bribed testing company

With REAL data on a 6000K bulb - not the some hokey chart that was made up by a bribed testing company, with two DIFFERENT bulbs.

Testing equipment is:
The MINOLTA Chroma Meter CL-200 is an expansive professional stuff, price is around US$2,700~US$3,000, check this website:
http://www.tequipment.net/MinoltaCL200.asp
The "6K-H7-lumen" photo shows 2633 Lumens, 6374 Kelvin, and -0.0004 of angel accuracy (tolerance) The "4K-H1-lumen" photo shows 3288 Lumens, 4006 Kelvin, and +0.0015 of angel accuracy (tolerance) for your reference.
Don't be fooled. Ask for proof. Make sure it's accurate.
