Have you installed something on your car recently? If not, just unplug the (+) terminal of the battery for a while (I did it overnight) and it'll be fine.

I don't recommend resetting the ECU (had a bad experience doing so).

Engine light

Oh! It's the positive!! I disconnected the Negative cable for about an hour but no change.

I was fooling around with the Clifford Alrm with the PC interface but that was like 2 weeks ago.

Unless you have remote start added, the Clifford should not create any errors for the engine. Let me know what Clifford you have though.

I have the Clifford ACE7500 with remote start. I've had it for over a year without any problems. Two weeks ago I got the CD-ROM with the data cable so I connected the lap top to the Clifford module and just played around with the diff settings. there weren't any problems till this Sat.

I did take the car out of the garage Fri morning(to park in the driveway) and then didn't turn it on till Sat evening, that is when the light came on.

Took the car to the dealer. It was a faulty O2 sensor. They replaced it and now everything is fine
