Newb Question About Molding

I always hear of people saying to other people with kits "you need to mold your body kit".. Man, I have no clue what that means and I am going to have one installed soon and I don't want to seem like an idiot when I goto the body shop.. Thanks and sorry for the newb question..

You know how you can see the lines of the added body kit...for example the rear of the stillen you can clearly see the line where the add-on piece is...if you mold it, they blend the line into the car with a puddy of some sort and then obviously paint over it all so it blends in more...i've seen it done on a maxima with the stillen kit and IMO it's not worth the money at all...not to mention I heard if you use any kind of pressurized water on your car while washing it, it could break the stuff they use to mold it and byebye hundreds of dollars...hope that helps
