Definitely the coilovers -- you won't find much love at all for chrome on this forum.

The rule is:

LOWER BEFORE WHEELS

And I'd look for a different wheel since you're asking.

coilovers...those rims are uuuugly...but even if you choose different rims, i say go with the coilovers, because the 4x4 wheel gap looks even more wrong with bigger wheels...just my .02

coilovers dude, those teins are sick!! i also hate seeing cars with rims but with stock suspension. your car will actaully sit higher if you go with bigger rims. makes it look real nasty.
those rims are alright. if you like them, then go for it. chromes are ok if its clean wheels, none of that weired lookin funky *** designs i see these days.

How about a drop spring and Tokico's, and a y-pipe and intake for the same price?

COILOVERS for two reasons:

(a) Larger wheels will only further amplify the wheel gap
(b) Those rims aer N-A-S-T-Y...look into some Ace or Axis wheels

Another thing to consider is "Why coilovers?"

You can get just as good a drop with Illuminas and S-Techs at half the price...coilovers are really only for racing enthusiasts

Only you can answer the question. Is the ride so bad or the look so bad? If you improve the ride it will make you want to do more in the future. The look is only skin deep.

A drop before any rims... regardless of how nasty/nice they are, they'll only look worse if your car isn't dropped.... get the coilovers...

Drop it like it's hot first, then you can put some bling on. Usually chrome wheels look good on big SUV's, not so sure though on maxima's. Although white probably would be the best looking color with chromes.

I will be ordering the coilovers as soon as I find the cheapest price. I seen

alot of different rims but the only other ones I REALLY like are the MM evo

5's, But "played out" is an under-statement concerning those rims. I am

opended to any sugestions
