well, as some of you know, i work at a ferrari/porsche/jaguar/rolls royce/bently/aston martin/audi/bmw/acura + dealership so driving porsche's is no big thing for me, but i finally drove my favorite porsche in the world...i have driven porsche 911 turbo's (the new ones) and they aren't anything special...but this was a custom ordered yellow w/ a black convertable carrera w/ a 911 turbo motor in it, fuel injectors, upgraded exhaust, rims, body kit etc...it was faster than a stock new 911 turbo and it was just amazing to drive...the exhaust sounded great...it could have used something on the inside (cough cough tv cough) but i just wanted to share that with everyone...i have driven ferrari's at work (308, f355 spyder, 360+ others) and i have to say that this porsche i drove today felt more responsive than any of the ferrari's (the f355 was awesome...the 360 was ok...the only fault was the f1 shifter)...just wanted to share that with everyone...so if anyone has $150-200k to waste, come down and we can order you one just like it...i rarely drive cars at work that i like driving more than my car but i have found one (well the 355 and 360 were better and some porsche's are nicer...but jag's aren't that great...trust me on this one...oh, and i seriously hate bently's and rolls royces...they are too big and you have no judgement in them (they are the ultimate pimp car, though

My buddy just bought a '98 XJR that has a supercharged 4-liter V-8 complete with freeflow intake and exhaust, overdriven pullies and a revised chip set which give him a whopping 460+ hp at the wheels at 430 ft.lbs. of torque (yes, it was dyno'd). His car also runs a modified suspension consisting of Bilstein shocks, Eibach springs and beefed up sway bars front and rear all riding on 18" OZ Racing wheels wrapped with Pirelli P0 asymetrical rubber (for street use ).

His car is the '98/'99 "OLOA" Luxury Sedan Class Champion.

Here's a pic of his car at Phoenix International Speedway.

You can also find pics of his ride at www.eesperf.com and I can tell you from experience, it's a real kick in the ***** to drive. It does the quarter in 13.4 at 106MPH (not bad for a 4000+ lb. four-door sled).

we get those in once in awhile (the db7's)...they are really really nice and they have a push button start

one really nice feature on any of the newer bently's is that if you just turn the key for 1/10th of a second to the on position, the engine automatically turns on so its kinda like a push button...its not like our cars where you have to leave it cranked until it starts then you can let go...the newer bently's also have a tv that comes out of the center of the upper dash (like where our diamond shaped clocks are)

The Bently is the ultimate automobile. Where I live there are only about 5-10 Bentlys in the city. Fortunately there is an NBA player that has a home directrly across the street from my parents home and I had the opportunity to see it first hand. Every component hand made you cant get any better than that. The 21" Lowenharts and Alpine DDDrive components and Monitors definately add flava to this vehicle. I just can't fathom the idea of paying 350k for a car though, it will be hard to drive it anywhere b/c of fear that something will happen to it. Can you drive a Bently to the local Wal-Mart?

I worked as a valet for a few months while in school. I got to bring down a Rolls Royce (Silver Spur?) that was up in the garage. I got in the ride and tried to put the key in the ignition but it wasn't there. I looked all around the steering column and even on the dash in the middle. I gave up and asked another co-worker. "Where th' @#$ do you put the key??" It was on the left side of the steering wheel on the dash!
Weirdo rich people!

Saab gave me a scare too. It's on the floor in the middle between the seats...

yeah...almost all porsches have the key on the left side, too...bently's are nice, don't get me wrong, but everytime i have to drive a customers bently down to the customer, i am worried because it is such a large vehicle, you have no judgement in it...and if anything happens to it, you are F*C*ED...they are overpriced (same w/ jags)

Damn you, you better start showing some respect to jags!!! They are way classier that the beamer 3 series you wanna go. Like those are real original....... You need to stop grouping S Types and X classes in the same catagory of jag. I would never touch and s type but the XJR is the ultimate in luxury with performance... and by luxury i mean PLUSH not just full of gadgets...

Most better German cars seems to do that. My moms 740iL does that and so does the Benz S class. My boss' S2000 has a push button, but I think u have to hold it while it cranks. Oh well, I guess we'll all just have to hold the key 'till it starts. Sucks to be a commoner, but we are the best in our class with our Max's.

Auto Options Salon sells a switch or button rather, that you can put where the 12volt outlet is to do push button start, I think it is $40. I was looking into getting a Bently but hey don't make enough mods for them yet! For some odd reason they look like souped up Lincolns to me!

Amen, brotha!

My buddy's XJR (pictured on first page... yes that's HIS car on the track but he didn't own it at the time the pic was taken) has leather seats that are like "butta". It's gorgeous.
