SSBC brakes are on and more.
Hey guys, just got back from Arizona yesterday and took the day off today to install the SSBC Twin piston brakes caliper: http://www.ssbrakes.com/products/det...xima&year=2001
The installation was some how easy and took me about 2 hrs, almost everything fitted perfectly, I just needed to put a washer between the braket and the wheel hub. I have 17" wheels and the caliper clearance is about 1/4 inches.
I'm glad they fit under my 17", let say it was a close call. It is dark now so I cant really take pics but I will later this week, but of course after the rear chrome caliper with new rotor and pads are in.![EEK!](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
I'm still in the brake-in period but so far so good, the pedal is smooth and there is no vibration. This set-up is much less noisy than my previous brakes, anyway let wait and see how it goes in the next few days.
