Any pics of Tein EDFC?

Can someone post some close up pics of the tein EDFC uninstalled. I am thinking of trying them on my tosers if they look like they will work :happyface

check hnda_etr's website, he has them on his 5th gen. Or you can check out www.cardomain.com/id/axa_g35 (used to be irvine78 on this forum)

its just a little black box that sits on top of the strut mount area where the strut portrudes

the thing is does the EDFC only works for the Tein(doh) because of the top thread.

Im wondering if I could use it for the D2s.

I know that they don't work ONLY for Tein's... Rod Millen uses the Tein EDFC on his GTO drift car... I believe he uses custom valved Intrax coilovers.

There are 2 things that you would have to make sure of on the tosers, or any other adjutable coilover:

1.) The threads on top of the strut must match with the thread pattern of the EDFC motors.

and

2.) The coilovers must be adjustable using the same kind/size of hex bolt.

Another thing to keep in mind, is that there are multiple models of the Motors, so the threads may not be the same between all the different models of motors.

You're best bet, is to find a shop that has the EDFC in stock and try to convince them to let you test fit a motor... I have a feeling this ain't gonna be easy to do though...

Thanks roy,
BTW what PSI were you running when you dynoed 300whp w/ the headers? Also my coilovers are adjustable using a allen wrench Key.

I was running the 3.125 pulley and I believe I was getting around 10.5 psi... :hyper:
