3rd brake light rattles against rear window!

Yeah, i have a GLE, no spoiler, so I got a third brake light. Anyway, i have an Arc 8" sub in the rear deck, and when it hits, the brake light rattles to all holy hell against the rear glass. What can i do that will stop this and not look like **** (like weather stripping, bleh). I was thinking a bead of silicon around the edge of the brakelight. i dont wanna bother Don with this, cuz hes got enough to do now, and it should be something i can do on my own. Any ideas?

i had the same problem also owning GLE, i used toilet paper, it works wonders, and you can hardly see it since i have 20% tints on back + i added a rear spoiler.

the 3rd brake light rattle is gone, but my 2 diamond subs are pounding so hard, the whole trunk is rattling like crazy......time for some dynamat

i got these little 1/2 inch or smaller fabric dots with a sticky on the other side. I put 1 in each corner. i have tints as well and the dots are dark. u can kinda see them but it doesn't look tacky or bad.

i like this idea better than toilet paper, no offense ghetto. where did you get them, a craft store or something?

btw, how did you get the brake light out, just pull it back?

if he's talking about what i think he's he's talking about then you can get them at home depot. they're what you'd put on the bottom of furniture to prevent it from scratching the floors.
