Well I wasn't hoping or wishing for this crap to develop but I have a sweet and wonderful (NOT) 3/4 round crater of rust about 1 inch from the top edge of the windshield.
It did have a small chip before which I gently cleaned out, primed and re-painted but the cancer didnt cease.

I know I have to locally repair it before it gets worse. But I think I might have to re-paint the whole top and get that rust sand-blasted out but normally it will return again.. This really sucks.

Any of you have this bad condition? Suggestions too..thanks.

Yea, I got 3 small rust spots on the roof of my car. Nissan said they wont cover it unless it rusts THROUGH, so whatever. :P
